The 2020 Audi A7 is a desirable low-def luxury car with an extra dose of practicality. The 2020 Audi A7 strikes an enviable balance between luxury, performance, functionality and style. In addition, with its soft 48-volt hybrid powertrain, the 2020 Audi A7 is even somewhat economical. It is the automotive equivalent of a German chocolate cake made from vegetables, although it comes from an expensive artisan bakery and not from Safeway.
We believe the 2020 Audi A7 Premium Plus strikes the best balance between luxury and value. Compared to the Premium model, the Plus adds a standard 360-degree camera, improved front and rear LED lights, a fully digital group of indicators and the first-line Bang & Olufsen surround sound system. Of course, it also comes with desirable amenities, such as heated front seats, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof and an electric tailgate. The only options we would choose are executive and driver assistance packages. Together, they provide adaptive cruise control, four-zone air conditioning, heated rear seats, lane support, ventilated front seats and more.
The interior of the 2020 Audi A7 has an impeccable fit and finish and is distinguished by attractive materials and robust equipment. Each cabin has interior interior lighting, heated front seats, leather seats, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone air conditioning and more. However, they are only controlled by touch screens, which is annoying. The 2020 Audi A7 also offers a satisfactory driving position which is complemented by excellent visibility to the outside. Rear passengers benefit from climate controls, power outlets for charging devices and even heated seats, which are optional. While the rear seat can comfortably accommodate two adults, three full-size frames would be narrow. Under the useful electric recoil of the 2020 Audi A7, we adjust seven handbags behind its folding and divided rear seat. The car also contained 20 luggage bags with folded seats. Likewise, we managed to place a golf bag and a stroller in the loading area. Unfortunately, the 2020 Audi A7 has poor interior space. The front door pockets are narrow and the center console has a small compartment. Each 2020 Audi A7 has a dazzling information and entertainment system with two touch screens that integrate perfectly with the dashboard and the center console. The large icons are easy to locate and the haptic response is satisfactory, but the configuration is undoubtedly annoying because they often force the driver to take his eyes off the road. Standard content includes Apple CarPlay / Android Auto integration and a portable Wi-Fi hotspot. Desirable options are two powerful high-end Bang & Olufsen audio systems and wireless charging of smartphones.
The 2020 Audi A7 is available in a unique configuration, at least for now. The 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine provides 335 horsepower to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for rapid acceleration. Combined with sticky tires and well-balanced steering, the car is a reliable and capable driver, even if it lacks pleasure in sports cars. We rate the 2020 Audi A7 at 7 out of 10 for its performance, with additional points for handling and acceleration. The turbocharged V6 emits a rather low noise because it makes the car jump forward. The vanes of the 7-speed gearbox trigger rapid gear changes, even if some competitors offer more gears. A thick-brimmed steering wheel feels good in the driver’s hands, although the actual feeling of steering is limited at best.
2020 Audi A7 prices and which to buy Premium: $ 69,995, Premium Plus: $ 74,595 and Prestige: $ 80,695.
