BMW was one of the first European car manufacturers to participate in the derby 2019 BMW X5 SUV with the original, a car that has become a game changer for the Bavarian company under their sporty European dynamic personality.
Exterior and Interior
The chassis has a double arm front axle A and a five arm rear arm. The base and sports suspension are steel. There will be an optional air suspension (on both axles now), with automatic self leveling. Dynamic damping control is standard, and there are two performance parameters: one for a comfortable ride and one for a sportier ride. The 2019 BMW X5 will provide aft steering, remote engine start, ascent and descent control and a factory trailer hitch. Adaptive LED headlights are standard and laser lamps are an option. The security features will look very much like those of Series 5 and X7. The 2019 BMW X5 will be the first to introduce an optional camera to monitor eye movements for signs of fatigue or a switch to the driver’s text, although this feature is not available first in the United States.
Interior luxury touches, including a shift device and Swarovski crystals in 7.0 iDrive line driver. Two screens are standard 12.3 inches, the cabin is full of environmental and contour lights, can cool the drink in the cup, and an optional panoramic roof with lights embedded in the glass to look like stars. Heated seats are standard and you can pay extra for ventilated front seats and massage. Entertainment on the rear seats and the optional Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system will not be available until December. There are two ways to open the tailgate: as a single unit or up and down separately. A slippery loading cover rolls automatically; Push a button to fold the rear seats and the luggage cover disappears on the ground between the second and third row. It is really nice. The carpet in the loading area is equipped with slip resistant rubber extensions that prevent the packaging from slipping, and there are hidden storage compartments. Although BMW is adding a new plate to its line (X7 seven full size passengers), the smaller 2019 BMW X5 will continue to offer an optional third row. It will not be available until the end of the year. M Sport models have more body color panels and matte aluminum grille bars; the roof rails and the edges of the side windows are bright black. The standard wheels are 19 inches, with 21 wheels and, for the first time, 22 inch wheels available as an option. It has a M Sport steering wheel, sport pedals and unique aluminum trim.
Like the outgoing model, the 2019 BMW X5 will be offered with a six cylinder in line and a V-8. The level of 40i equipment replaces the level of equipment and 35i comes with 340 horsepower and 331 lb / ft of torque, an improvement of 38 horsepower and 45 lb-ft on the entry level of the latest generation model. The 50i trim level comes with a revamped V-8 that delivers 462 horsepower and 479 pounds of torque. It is 17 additional horses without gain or loss of torque. This model will not be offered in Europe, probably because of high taxes on large engines. 30d setting is also available with 265 horsepower and 457 lb-ft, while a 50D setting will give you 400 horsepower and 560 lb / ft. The four engines come standard with an eight speed automatic transmission, and so far there is no news of a manual gearbox. These are all xDrive models and models available at launch, so the rear drive and probably a manual transmission will be available at a later date. The 40i is capable of reaching 62.1 mph in 5.5 seconds and reaches a maximum of 151 mph. Reaches between 32 and 33 mpg on the Imperial scale and pumped between 193 and 200 grams of CO2 per kilometer (just over half a mile). The 50i, V-8 model can achieve the same sprint of 62 miles per hour. in 4.7 seconds and exceeds a little over at 155 mph. You will only get 24.4 mpg on the Imperial Scale, so do not wait to save on the bomb. It is also a bit dirtier, pumping 264 grams of CO2 per kilometer traveled. On the diesel front, you will find that things are a little cleaner with emissions of between 158 and 179 grams per km with the 30d. It will take 6.5 seconds to reach 62 mph, and you will exceed 143 mph. On this note, it is more efficient, offering between 41.5 and 47.1 mpg at the imperial scale. Finally. The 50D uses the same six cylinder in line diesel engine, but its tuning allows 5.2 seconds sprinting at 62mph and a top speed of 155mph (electronically limited, we’re sure). It’s even cleaner than the six online. gasoline engine, pumping 179 to 190 grams of CO2 per kilometer on average, between 39.2 and 41.5 mpg imperial scale.
