2019 Acura RDX Transmission Turbo Vehicles White Wagon

Review

The compact 2019 Acura RDX crossover is ready for a close up. Just one year off the Acura list, the new 2019 Acura RDX has a new top, turbo power, good looks, all wheel drive and first class interior. In terms of base, technology, A-Spec and advanced tuning, the 2019 Acura RDX has what it takes to be the best vehicle in the Acura range, apart from NSX super sports.

Exterior and Interior

Acura joined the 2019 Acura RDX, splicing DNA bits from both the NSX and Precision Concept. On the front, the diamond pentagon grid, made famous by the recent release of the Acura RLX 2018. This is combined with updated Jewel Eye headlights now have two more LED elements, and a pair of air intakes at the angles that are inspired by the SX and are actually functional air, sending from the front and to the side. And when in doubt about Acura’s performance powers, the bulges in the bonnet are there to remind you, and passing in the street, which does not drive the grandmother BMW X3. The extreme nature of the exterior design of the 2019 Acura RDX is transferred to the side profile where very precise body lines combine the concept and reality. The small body line that pulls back the headlights seems stronger in the center, while the sloping line of the belt line towards the front of the front wheel passes through the front door handle into the central top . This line is quite minimalist but it is accentuated by the line of the lower body which is distinguished by the black edge that exceeds the two doors. The black border of the lower fascia is represented by lateral skirts on the back. The black border around the windows and full contrast side mirror arms, but the rear legs are interesting thanks to these two lines of flexible bodies feeding from the top and bottom of the taillights.

We have very little interior 2019 Acura RDX specifications at the time of writing, but it says that the passenger volume is 104 cubic feet, while the cargo volume is set at 29.5 cubic feet. This represents an increase of 0.5 cubic feet in passenger volume and 3.4 cubic feet of cargo volume, resulting in the longest wheelbase. The margin should increase slightly, as well as the legroom, but the hips and shoulders will probably be displaced from the previous generation. We will keep you informed of these specifications as they become available. As far as interior design is concerned, Acura rejected all the latest generation design and proposed something completely new. something that can easily embarrass BMW and Audi. The board really looks nasty with the thick curves that move door panels and are placed face to face in the center of the stack. The picture has this deep look that looks like something you could see in a supercar, a style that is reinforced by the aggressive but a little grouped. On the positive side, Acura has eliminated this built in embedded infotainment screen and replaced it with a screen similar to the German one that appears from the top of the table, it’s not so bad! The steering wheel now has a high end appearance and a sports car version, while the dashboard is a semi lunar unit with a small screen in the center and an analogue indicator on each side. The A-Spec models will have steel pedals and two tone seats with a racing inspired look. This aspect moves backwards, where a 40-20-40 folding seat also features perforated leather and a two tone design on the highest decorations.

Engine

In terms of performance, Acura delivered its products as usual. First, let me warn you: the new 2019 Acura RDX is not as powerful as the outgoing model, but there is a good reason for that. This 3.5 liter V6 was shipped to scrap with a 2.0 liter turbo VTEC in its place. It has two air cams and the usual direct injection, a V-6 update from previous years. This new plant produces 272 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 280 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 rpm. These are seven ponies of the latest generation model, but this is offset by a torque increase of 28 lb / ft. This power is the transmission on the ground by a 10 speed automatic transmission with shift paddles. Unfortunately, this is not a manual with three pedals, but it is a big improvement over the six speed car that would have been achieved in 2018. More importantly, the new 2019 Acura RDX is available with the third generation. of the Acura SH-AWD system.
